Omexco’s Casca collection (available from Lelièvre Paris) explores the beautiful qualities of cork, known for its natural warmth, sustainability credentials and acoustic properties. To these advantages can be added a surprising versatility, as the Belgian brand has found a myriad ways to use the material: ‘CAS71’ (above) is a panoramic design that includes an over-printed abstract design, with gold linear accents that add a touch of luxe. ‘CAS25’ works mulberry bark into large-scale checks (below left) while ‘CAS61’ (below right) features geometric shapes and a metallic sheen.

Omexco has two further collections launching for SS23: Birds of Paradise takes you to the tropics with fabulous florals, luscious leaves and beautiful birds; while Loom Stories are plain but beautifully textured wallcoverings made from hand-spun yarns including fine Belgian linen and wild silk, exuding artisanal excellence. As the brand likes to put it: “We don’t cover your walls, we make them stand out.”
